Friends Forever

Our Mission

Friends Forever is a 501c3 non profit and NYS Registered RR426 animal rescue group dedicated to helping the stray,sick and abandoned animals in CNY. We are a very small group with only a handful of foster homes that house our pets until they can be adopted. Friends Forever was established in 2002 when founder Casey Newton came upon a mom and kitten who needed help. Since 2002 Friends Forever has placed over 8000 homeless or unwanted pets into new homes. We currently take in Dogs,Cats,Rabbits,Rats,Mice, and any other small pets. We also help with assisting people who may need help getting their pet spayed/neutered. Friends Forever is a non funded rescue, We relay solely on donations. We are dedicated to each one of the animals that come through our door, and also to the many others who have not yet been rescued. We will not stop. We will continue to fight the war on homeless and abused animals one heart

Spay/Neuter

By spaying or neutering your pet, you’ll help control the pet homelessness crisis, which results in millions of healthy dogs and cats being euthanized in the United States each year simply because there aren’t enough homes to go around. There are also medical and behavioral benefits to spaying (female pets) and neutering (male pets) your animals.

Friends Forever will help families that can not afford to have their pets spayed/neutered with our low cost clinics.

Adoption process

We think that every family should have a pet. Here at Friends Forever we have all kinds of pets waiting to go home. We have dogs,cats,puppies,kittens,rabbits,guinea pigs, rats, hamsters,gerbils, ferrets, and birds and reptiles. Our process begins with an application. Once approved we have you visit with our pets to see if we can find just the match for you and your family. We then do a trial were we see if the pet in fact does fit well and then we make the adoption final
